Before: the README status table and the build guide still described July. They said phase-2 had 83 unrouted connections, the manager was unrouted, phase-1 was 120 × 80 mm and firmware was at 0.1. They also listed Q3/Q4 as unpinned and the USB-C, encoder and bus shunt as "verify at sourcing". HANDOVER repeated old phase-2 and backplane rows, and its next steps listed reviews that are already closed.

After: every status doc matches development as of 2026-10-06. All four boards are routed and DRC-clean, firmware is at 0.2, and the PR #16 parts (manager L2 FNR5040S330MT, backplane C2 UCX1H471MNS1MS) are recorded. The open items are listed: the five BOM CHECK: rows, phase-1/2 L2 still on 1210 lands, and v0.1.0 manager/backplane order files that predate PR #16.

How: I checked the docs against the BOM CSVs, lcsc_parts.py, the footprint library, git log and the firmware tree, then edited README, HANDOVER, SOURCING, docs/09, docs/11, docs/12, LAYOUT, MECHANICAL and PARTS-TO-DOWNLOAD. The only change outside the docs is a note in lcsc_parts.py: the L1/L3 notes said "placeholder footprint", but that footprint was retired in d281f94. The two regenerated BOM CSVs change only in that note. bom.py --check and the host tests pass.

All four boards are routed, firmware is at 0.2, and PR #16 changed the
manager L2 and backplane C2. The status tables, build guide and sourcing
notes still described the July state (phase-2 with 83 unrouted
connections, manager unrouted, 120 x 80 phase-1, unpinned Q3/Q4).

- README / HANDOVER: current board and firmware state, branch workflow,
the five open BOM CHECK rows and the open phase-1/2 L2 question
- build guide: 100 x 80 board, the real section 3.3 decisions
- SOURCING / docs/09: parts picked since (USB-C, encoder, bus shunt,
  C2, L2, Q1-Q4 stand-in), retired placeholder-footprint notes
- LAYOUT status table, small stale lines in MECHANICAL, docs/12,
  PARTS-TO-DOWNLOAD
- BOM: drop the stale "placeholder footprint" note on L1/L3
