ApprovabilityVerdict: Approved at Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — This is a focused archive-page UI change that exposes an existing delete action as a button and supplies the correct archived thread title to the confirmation dialog. It reuses the existing mutation, permission checks, error handling, and refresh behavior without changing APIs or broader runtime workflows. You can add or adjust custom eligibility rules. - Around line 3451-3452: Update handleDeleteThread and the corresponding row
action state to track pending operations per thread, disabling both archive-row
buttons while confirmAndDeleteThread or deleteThread is in progress; clear the
pending state in all settled paths so the controls re-enable afterward.

Note Written by thanks @voltcrash. your visible delete action, archived-title fallback, accessible labels, and pending-row guard are preserved. merged current main into your branch, moved the controls into main's extracted archive panel, and folded the extra action wrapper into its handler. no rebase or force push. verification at
unverified: electron native menus, native mobile, and remote/relay/tunnel connections. web and desktop share this panel; provider adapters and contracts are unchanged. |

short server-state transcript, read-only against the task's dev database after the browser interactions: matching app-created rows, before on current main and after on the pr; relative ages and the settings navigation differ between revisions: Not verifiednative electron menus or macos/windows behavior, native ios/android, remote/relay/tunnel and multiple environments, other providers, server-error recovery, and confirmation-disabled preference. these were outside the exercised local linux web + codex path. this pr changes the shared web/desktop archive panel and confirmation hook; it changes no provider adapter or wire contract. |

Settings → Archive now exposes Delete beside Unarchive. Both per-thread buttons are icon-only, ordered Unarchive → Delete, with tooltips and screen-reader labels that name the target thread. They share the existing confirmation and error handling with the context menu; the confirmation names the archived thread, and a pending row rejects repeated actions.
This exposes an existing deletion capability and fixes its missing confirmation title, under CONTRIBUTING’s focused-fix exception. Web and desktop share the panel; mobile already has swipe-to-delete.
Before
After
Verification: checked icon-only rows and the named delete confirmation in the dev client using four archived threads across two projects. Cancel preserved all four. Focused lint, web typecheck, panel React Compiler coverage, and thread-action permission tests pass. Earlier verification confirmed successful deletion. Desktop’s native context menu was not retested.
