docs(design): design-system manifest v1 + token sheet (DSX-0) - #384

Conversation
Decisive token and block-chrome contract for the per-block-family redesign tasks: type ramp, motion scale + application table, radius roles, a single placeholder alpha, callout/code colour tokens, z-index rules, editor vs data palette boundary, formula-driven gutter geometry, KitFrame adoption and motion/colour/z lint guards. The token sheet is a self-contained HTML sign-off artifact rendering every decided value in light and dark. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

Problem
Four divergent styling regimes and token drift across the editor (motion tokens reach 2 of ~45 transition sites; 80 literal radii; three placeholder alphas; untokenised callout/code colours). Seven family redesign tasks need one decisive contract to build against. Board: OB DSX-0 (Epic DSX).
Solution
docs/design/design-system-manifest-2026-10.md— decision tables (SPC-1 format) for type scale (16px/1.5 body — owner-approved), 3-step motion scale + application table (no block entrance animation), role-based radii (+12px dialogs), one placeholder alpha (0.6), callout/code colour tokens with computed contrast, z-index rules, palette boundary, block-chrome contract (single gutter formula), KitFrame adoption rule (charts included — owner-approved), and the motion/colour lint-guard spec (warn-with-baseline → error-at-zero). Plustoken-sheet-2026-10.html, the self-contained visual sign-off artifact. Audit findings (§11) already spun into DSX-P (PR #382).Before / After
Docs-only — no visual change, no code. The token sheet renders the decided system; owner signed off 2026-10-08.
Test procedure
Open
docs/design/token-sheet-2026-10.htmlin a browser (light + dark via OS setting); cross-check values against the manifest tables.Operational notes
Implementation lands via DSX-1..9 family PRs with before/after captures; this document is the contract they cite. Comparative benchmark referred to throughout as "the reference editor".
Verify status: docs-only, no suites affected · Reviews cleared: owner visual sign-off (token sheet + three scope decisions, 2026-10-08)
