Part of #938. Organization pages showed only a placeholder ("Soon you'll be able to… read what the community commits about it"). They now have a Mentions tab listing the commits and replies that mention the organization, newest first, and the apps get the same feed from the API.
Changes
OrganizationMentionsQuery and a CommitBuilder::mentioning() scope read the existing commit_topics links from feat: @organization mentions #1262. Visibility matches the rest of the site: guests see approved commits only, you also see your own pending ones, blocks hide commits both ways, and deleted commits are left out. Muted authors are hidden, as in a log, since this is a community feed rather than the author's profile. Replies come with the commit they answer when the viewer may see it.
The organization page has a tab bar with one tab, Mentions, which is the default. ?tab=mentions also works, so links stay stable when more tabs arrive.
GET api/v1/organizations/{handle}/mentions: a signed request gets the web's feed for that user, and a guest gets approved commits with the public preview, like api/v1/users/{handle}/commits.
Undoing a delete puts the commit back in this feed, matched by the organization's ID, so a commit written before a rename comes back too. The page now exposes the organization's id for this.
KNOWLEDGE_BASE.md describes the tab. PRODUCT.md is unchanged.
Validation
Local, on a throwaway pgvector Postgres:
php -d memory_limit=-1 vendor/bin/pest --parallel --ci --coverage --exactly=100.0: 4802 passed, coverage 100.0% (at ffd39cb). The rename test added after it passes on its own, with its file at 7/7.
composer test:lint, composer test:types, composer test:type-coverage (100%), bun run test:unit (209 passed): all pass.
EXPLAIN ANALYZE on 300k commits: under 0.5 ms for both a heavily mentioned organization (5% of commits) and a rarely mentioned one (27 commits), each using an index.
Browser (Chromium via Playwright): guest, signed-in, empty, and end-of-feed states; Delete then Undo on the feed; after renaming the organization to @laravel-php, a commit written as @laravel stays listed, and Delete then Undo puts it back (listed 1, then 0, then 1).
Hosted CI runs on this revision.

iPhone 18 Pro Simulator, iOS 27, Safari: a fresh load of the organization page renders its header, but the site's guest sheet covers the tab and the feed, so the Simulator shows neither. Touch and scrolling were not exercised in the Simulator. The 390px captures above, which show the tab and the feed, are Chromium emulation. The change adds no input fields, so the on-screen keyboard doesn't apply.
Independent review
A separate agent reviewed base 22fc3df0 against head f2fd8582, read-only, with the screenshots above: CODE: PASS, VISUAL: PASS. It ran the organization, API, user page, restoration, and architecture tests on its own database (all pass). It relied on the implementer's runs of the full suite, lint, and types.
Non-blocking findings:
The rename case had no test. It does now (f2fd8582).
The new Undo branch in commit-feed.tsx has no automated test; the other branches don't either.
The pagination test checks the next-page link but doesn't follow it.
After Undo, a reply can show a deleted parent that a fresh load would hide. The profile's Replies tab already behaves this way.
The Organization & { id: string } type could instead be an optional id on Organization.
Limitations
The tab and feed were not seen on a device or the Simulator, only in Chromium emulation. Touch and scrolling are unverified there.
The tab has no mention count; it comes with the Commits tab.
Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Organization pages now include a Mentions tab showing commits and replies that mention the organization, newest first. Replies appear alongside their parent commits.
Mentions respect visibility settings: guests see approved public content, while signed-in viewers may also see their own pending commits. Content from blocked or muted people is excluded.
Mentions remain associated with the organization if its handle changes.
An API endpoint is available to retrieve organization mentions.
The change adds an organization mentions query and API endpoint, then displays paginated mentions in a Mentions tab on organization pages. Results use viewer-specific visibility rules and include reply and parent details when visible.
The query filters commits by organization topic and applies viewer visibility, muted-author filtering, visible parent data, reply data, and ordering.
Organization mentions API app/Http/Requests/ListApiOrganizationMentionsRequest.php, routes/api.php, app/Http/Controllers/Api/OrganizationMentionController.php, tests/Feature/Controllers/Api/OrganizationMentionControllerTest.php
The endpoint returns paginated public or viewer-specific organization mentions. Tests cover visibility, reply data, and handles that do not identify an organization.
The organization page provides a paginated Mentions tab. Tests cover guest and signed-in visibility, pagination, and mentions after a handle change. The knowledge base describes the tab and its visibility rules.

Merge Risk: Low · up to f2fd8
Muted authors’ parent commits can still appear beside visible replies, so the Mentions feed does not fully honor mute settings.
Security architecture risk: Low · up to f2fd8
The new feed reuses existing visibility and authentication controls. No material authorization bypass was identified in the reviewed paths. Risk is bounded, although runtime behavior and some navigation timing remain unverified.
Retained concerns
No architecture-level concerns identified.
Security review details
Security Blast Radius
inferred — The new attacker-reachable capability is organization-based discovery of community commits and replies. Anonymous callers can retrieve approved content; additional viewer-specific content requires an authenticated identity. The reviewed flow grants no organization-management or write authority.
Security Findings and Attack Paths
inferred — No new authorization bypass was established in the traced mention and nested-content paths. Another user's unpublished content and cross-block authors are filtered by the existing visibility rules; exposing a muted approved parent is not an authorization bypass under the documented mute semantics.
Trust Boundaries and Controls
observed — Unsigned API requests take the guest path even if another authentication context exists. Signed requests must verify against an approved device, invalid signatures fail rather than downgrade, and the verified device's user supplies the viewer identity.
Resilience and Maintainability Implications
inferred — The changed restoration projection preserves the server's authority: restoration is owner-authorized and rechecked under a transactional row lock, while client insertion requires matching organization metadata and deduplicates by commit ID. No cross-organization insertion path was identified. Cancellation during navigation remains unverified at runtime.

Match restored organization mentions by organization ID.
A commit can retain an old organization handle in organization_mentions after a rename. The restore handler checks only the current handle, so Undo does not insert the restored commit into the Mentions feed. The normal restore request does not reload or otherwise repair that feed.

visibleTo($viewer) does not filter mutes. The organization result applies withoutMutedAuthorsFor($viewer), but the eager-loaded parent relation does not. A signed viewer who muted the parent author can therefore receive that muted commit in a visible reply’s parent field.
