What changed

Three new pages and one refresh.

  • /blog/mistral-large-4/ (launch page). Mistral published Mistral Large 4 on 6 Oct 2026; it had more than 750 points on Hacker News the same day. 1,076 words.
  • /blog/opencode-vs-claude-code/. "opencode vs claude code" has 3,600 searches a month at difficulty 5 (OpenSEO, 6 Oct 2026). 1,071 words.
  • /blog/claude-cowork-vs-claude-code/. "claude cowork vs claude code" has 1,900 searches a month at difficulty 0. 1,091 words.
  • Refresh: /blog/chatgpt-dots-alternatives/ gets a section on OpenDots, the open source template from CopilotKit. About 90 words were cut elsewhere so the page stays at the 1,200 word cap (1,199). No fact, link or table row was removed.

Each new page has four bright scenes and a title card (white, no characters, the #700 style), its own motion.js and motion.css, and one link from an older post: reflection-beam, what-is-opencode, what-is-claude-cowork.

Checks

  • Gate: pass on all three new pages with media and motion checks on, and on the three older posts that got a link. Build and node tools/check-release-links.cjs: pass.
  • chatgpt-dots-alternatives passes the gate except its media check, which already fails on main: the post uses the older lead image, not a registered title card. Not changed here.
  • Independent fact review: round 1 failed all four on wording, not on numbers (dropped qualifiers such as "Pro and Max" and "off by default", one verdict stronger than the charts, a missing OpenDots dependency). Round 2 passed after the fixes. The Mistral post had one review round plus two wording fixes that were not reviewed again.
  • The Mistral benchmark table is two rows we selected from the charts in Mistral's launch post; the numbers are Mistral's own and are labelled so. The reviewer read the chart images and matched all ten values.
  • Mistral lists two prices ($0.68 and $2.09 per million tokens, with $1.36 and $4.18 struck through). The page reports both and says the source gives no end date.
  • Scenes swap in on the built pages in headless Chrome (4 of 4 on each page). Keyboard interaction was checked by the scene builders. Not tested: Safari, Firefox, a real phone, taps by hand.
  • One scene caption on the Cowork page was changed after review to add "Pro and Max"; the evidence sheet for that page shows the earlier wording.

Before

No page existed for the three new names. The live URL returned the 404 page on 6 Oct 2026:
