What changed

Two new pages.

• /blog/agent-tools-today-2026-10-07/: the daily brief for 7 Oct. 1,149 words, one scene.
• /blog/hermes-agent-vs-openclaw/: "hermes agent vs openclaw" has 1,300 searches a month at difficulty 7 (OpenSEO, 6 Oct 2026). 1,080 words, four bright scenes and a title card, one link from what-is-hermes-agent.

A third page, Codex vs Cursor, was written and held back: it failed fact review twice, so by the engine rule it does not ship. The draft and its open fixes are saved for a later run.

Checks

• Gate: pass on both pages with media and motion checks on, and on what-is-hermes-agent. Build and node tools/check-release-links.cjs: pass.
• Independent fact review, round 1: both failed. The brief had two wording points (OpenAI's Decisions API is an API in beta, not a model; the skill-placebo result is on cost only). Hermes vs OpenClaw had four (OpenClaw can also write its own skills, so that is not a difference; the migration does not import tokens without a flag; one unsourced absolute; one verb). Round 2, by a different reviewer: both pass.
• Every quoted phrase in the Hermes page was checked word for word against the raw README and docs.
• Star counts for the two projects are from the GitHub API on 7 Oct 2026. Two items in the brief have 1 and 2 stars; the brief says so.
• Scene text was checked against each post by me after the review. One alt text was reworded after review so file names are not turned into links.
