Description

Corrects the worked example in docs/release-versioning.md. #62 (closes #61) was also merged with the default squash body, and its release run (37709033894) was cancelled before tagging. This PR's merge carries Release-As: v0.3.0 and cuts v0.3.0. Its range is v0.2.27..HEAD, so #62 ships in it too.

Dry run (simulated squash onto main, with the exact merge body)

Merge (squash only, with the body file; footer at column 0)

Correct the release-versioning worked example: #62 was also merged
without its footer and its release was cancelled before tagging.

docs: put release footers in the commit itself; cut v0.3.0 (#63) (#66)

The default squash message for a single-commit PR is the commit's own
message, so a footer written here survives a default merge. Footers kept
only in the PR description or a merge-message file were dropped three
times (#60, #62, #64).

Release-As: v0.3.0
