Added support for primitive-backed custom types across schema validation, generated schemas, and ORM operations, including constraints and scalar values.
Mutation hooks can now be configured for individual models or all models. The previous catch-all configuration remains supported but emits a deprecation warning.
Added support for field-level update policies on implicit many-to-many relations.
Bug Fixes
Improved ORM handling of bulk updates, timestamps, relation policies, enum comparisons, and delegated model queries.
Corrected custom-type value handling across database providers and generated Prisma schemas.
Documentation
Updated authentication adapter setup instructions and mutation-hook guidance.
Release and language contracts BREAKINGCHANGES.md, packages/language/*, packages/schema/*, packages/sdk/*, packages/cli/*
Version metadata, primitive type definitions, enum references, relation utilities, validation, linking, scoping, semantic tokens, and schema generation were updated.
ORM type mapping and query execution packages/orm/src/client/*
Primitive typedefs now use their base scalar types across filters, dialect transformations, aggregates, Zod schemas, SQL types, and generated results. Delegate aliases, bulk updates, cascades, and $expr model aliases were updated.
Mutation hooks, policy, and soft delete packages/orm/src/client/plugin.ts, packages/orm/src/client/client-impl.ts, packages/orm/src/client/executor/*, packages/plugins/*
Mutation hooks now support $all and model-specific configurations, with legacy normalization and warnings. Many-to-many policy checks use relation-field update policies. Delegate-aware aliases are used by soft-delete queries.
Tests and generated fixtures packages/*/test/*, tests/e2e/*, tests/regression/*

Merge Risk: Low · up to d44e4
Primitive custom types based on BigInt, Decimal, Json or Bytes may be rejected in some comparison expressions, and a hook on one model adds a small overhead to mutations on other models. Neither is likely to cause serious failures, so the change can merge with these tracked as follow-ups.

Explanation
The title "merge dev to main (v3.10.0)" names a branch merge and a version bump, but the changeset covers many feature and fix areas: primitive custom types, typed entity mutation hooks ($all), many-to-many field-level update policies, enum-as-array conversion, and dependency updates. The title does not describe any of these functional changes. It is accurate for a release merge but does not state the main change from a developer's perspective. The PR objectives confirm the release-merge nature. Per the criteria, a title that refers to a real aspect but is overly broad is a partial match, so it passes.

This getter returns true when any plugin has an after-mutation hook for any model. The caller at Line 247-249 then uses it for every insert and update. A hook on one model therefore has two effects on every other model:
On dialects with RETURNING, the query is rewritten to return all columns.
On dialects without RETURNING (MySQL), getPreUpdateIds runs an extra SELECT before each update.
The getter also rebuilds Object.keys(models) on each mutation.

hook and the hook for the mutated model, rather than scanning every schema
model. Pass the mutated model from proceedQuery so unrelated models do not
