Feedback
The Minecraft troubleshooting section covers the trailing dot, but it does not show readers how to test the resulting address. A DNS record can exist while the Minecraft endpoint is still unreachable.
Would you consider adding a short verification step for Java servers? I maintain ServerBuddy, so this is an affiliated resource suggestion.
Suggested change
After the trailing-dot note in the Minecraft section:
To test the public address, enter the hostname without a port in the free ServerBuddy status checker and select Java. This allows the checker to use the hostname's SRV record and request a Minecraft status response. Then try joining with the same hostname in Minecraft. A successful status response does not prove that login or join compatibility will work.
This would apply only to the Minecraft section, not FiveM. The checker needs no account. I am not requesting a contribution reward or a paid placement.
Thanks for considering it.
