Explain:

yasbd-lib is a production-ready, rule-based sentence boundary detector for Python NLP pipelines. It supports 39 languages and includes a drop-in pysbd adapter and a spaCy v3 integration.

The project is also used by downstream projects including OpenMed, LiveTranslate, chunklet-py, wyoming_openai, and Kreyolib.

The v1.0.0 release marked the end of the beta phase, with the core API and language coverage stabilized for production use. A detailed write-up of the transition from beta to v1.0.0 is available here:
