… the concrete pipeline-core gate The delivery is moving from point estimates to predictions-with-uncertainty (S samples/cell). Records why this sharpens C-40: views-frames stores a distribution as a native (N, S) array, whereas pandas PGMDataset stores it as object-dtype list-in-cell — cost ~linear in S (pipeline-core's own #181/#189 OOM, encode/decode tax, silent np.resize). Also makes "DataFrame retirement" concrete: the gate = pipeline-core Epic #186 + #207 (frame loader #161/#162, frame container #159, frame store I/O, retire legacy pandas path #211), an epic not a PR; the de-inheritance half vpp owns and can do now. Updates C-40 with two things surfaced this session:
(N, S)natively; pandasPGMDatasetstores object-dtype list-in-cell (pipeline-core's own #181/#189 OOM, encode/decode tax, silentnp.resize). Invisible at S=1, dominant at S≈1000.Also noted on #45 (the producer-side draw carrier). Register-only change.
