I upgraded my M2 Macbook to MacOS 27.0 last night, and I have not been able to open the veracrypt vol since.
Expected behavior
I selected the encrypted volume, typed in the password and expected to see the volume to be loaded as usual.
Observed behavior
Instead, a failure error message popped up:
objc[2123]: +[NSNumber initialize] may have been in progress in another thread when fork() was called. We cannot safely call it or ignore it in the fork() child process. Crashing instead. Set a breakpoint on objc_initializeAfterForkError to debug.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Veracrypt app
- Select the encrypted volume
- Type in the password
- Select "Mount"
