WHY THIS MATTERS: There's no new Claude Code release; the version is still 2.1.304. Mintlify (code.claude.com, claude.com/docs, modelcontextprotocol.io) changed how its .md export renders: <Tip>, <Tabs>, <Steps>, <Update>, <Frame> and similar are now GFM (> [!TIP], bold tab headings, numbered lists, ![]() images). That accounts for most of the 881-file diff (+87k/−97k). The day shift needs to know about three side effects of the change. First, a few new docs and features are hidden inside the noise. Second, several interactive pages lost the data that was stored inside their JS components. Third, the changelog no longer has release dates. No files were deleted, and tombstones.json and discovery.json didn't change.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Archive fidelity regression, please check. Pages built from JS components lost their embedded content in the new export:
  • claude-code/prompt-library.md: 65.8KB → 4.5KB. The prompt cards are gone and only the intro and outro text is left.
  • claude-code/context-window.md: 60KB → 8.4KB.
  • claude-code/claude-directory.md: 92KB → 28KB. The file-tree explainer is gone.
  • claude/skills/how-to.md and claude/plugins/build.md lost about 45% each (interactive folder trees).
  • claude-science/example-gallery.md: 4.6KB → 1.6KB.
  • Upstream no longer serves this content as markdown, so we can't restore it with a refetch. To keep the old versions, go to git history at 6b9a50a.
• Changelog lost its release dates. claude-code/changelog.md changed from <Update label="2.1.304" description="October 19, 2026"> to bare **2.1.304** headings. All 424 version labels are still there and only the dates are missing.
• New platform guides: User profiles for end-customer attribution. These are two new pages: manage-claude/user-profiles.md and user-profiles-verification-portal.md.
  • You register end customers with POST /v1/user_profiles and send the returned uprof_ ID in the anthropic-user-profile-id header.
  • A safety hold or block then applies to that one customer, not to your whole org.
  • Enrollment links come from POST /v1/user_profiles/{id}/action_urls. They send end customers to the Verification Portal.
  • We already had the API reference for these endpoints. These are the first conceptual guides.
• Claude Desktop 3P Enterprise Admin Console is now GA (it was beta). The HIPAA "not yet reviewed" caveat was removed. Sign-in now also needs hcaptcha.com/*.hcaptcha.com egress, and sign-ins expire about once a month.
• Claude Desktop 3P releaseChannel key (stable / staggered) lets admins delay updates until a release has fully rolled out. There is also a new quickEntryDefaultShortcut key. Auto mode on gateways calls claude-sonnet-5 for its safety classifier, so gateways must allow that exact ID.
• Claude Code docs catch up with 2.1.304:
  • Mods: tool.check documents e.isReadOnly, the isReadOnly: true matcher, and the warning not to approve calls on that field alone. The docs now say tool.check fires after the PreToolUse hooks.
  • /auto-mode-setup now works for Enterprise plans and Console API keys, and since 2.1.304 also in sessions without feature flags. There is a new "Unknown command" troubleshooting section.
  • Settings reference: idle compaction can be turned off from /config (v2.1.302+).
  • LLM gateway protocol: mid-conversation role: "system" entries are now pass-through.
• Support: new and rediscovered Console articles (invite members, workspaces, API key best practices, appearance). The Enterprise custom-roles article adds an "Owner access" permission and per-role Cloud sessions / Remote Control toggles.
• Possible conversion artifact: claude-code/setup.md and claude/third-party/claude-desktop/configuration.md have code fences with theme={null} repeated dozens of times on one line. In setup.md the count went from 54 to 164 occurrences. Before blaming upstream, check whether the fetcher is re-appending the attribute.
• MCP schema.md files shrank by about 70% because highlighted-HTML code blocks became plain markdown. The content is equivalent, so this is not a loss.

setup.md, prompt-library.md, context-window.md and claude-directory.md are byte-identical to what upstream .md serves right now. The 164× theme={null} comes from Mintlify's export, not from us, and the shrunken pages are upstream dropping JS-component content.

The pre-re-render versions are still in history at 6b9a50a. Merging.
