Upstream's pingdotgg#27847 moved release lookups off the browser and onto each server, through npm. A fork server answering from npm would offer upstream versions the fork never publishes, so the lookup now reads this fork's GitHub releases on the server. The web client has no fork changes left in this area.
Conflicted files:
apps/web/src/state/npmRelease.ts: took upstream's RPC version. The fork's GitHub lookup moved toapps/server/src/cloud/npmRelease.ts, which replaces npm withtebiggs/t3codereleases. As before, these releases report no database migration, so a track crossing stays blocked.apps/web/src/state/npmRelease.test.ts: took upstream's version.apps/server/src/cloud/npmRelease.test.tsnow covers the GitHub lookup.apps/web/src/components/sidebar/useUpdateEverything.ts: took upstream's version, which drops the "wait for npm" precheck the fork had pointed at GitHub.apps/mobile/src/state/use-remote-environment-registry.ts: kept both imports, the fork's phone server settings and upstream's relay discovery.Other fork change in this merge: updated the path in
FORK.md.docs/user/updating.mdkeeps upstream's new "Registries and proxies" section, which says servers check T3 Code releases through npm. That is not true of this fork, and I left it because the fork carries no changes to that page.Typecheck for shared, server, web and mobile passes, as do the release tests in those packages.
