Upgrading an install that has .claude/ to a build after 55b82fe (which retired /tskl) showed:

◆ Remove Taskless from .claude/ (1 stub), and make these changes to your settings?

The upgrade only removes commands/tskl/tskl.md. The skill stays, and the summary above the question even says 1 skill(s) unchanged. But the question reads like an uninstall, so the natural answer is No, which declines the upgrade.

buildRemovalConfirmMessage now separates the two cases:

  • A directory that keeps nothing (deselected): Remove Taskless from .cursor/ (2 stubs), unchanged.
  • A directory that keeps a skill or command: Remove 1 stub from .claude/.
  • Both: Remove Taskless from .cursor/ (2 stubs), 1 stub from .claude/?

Verified the install itself was already correct: in a scratch project, installing with the pre-55b82fe0 build and rerunning init from main leaves .claude/skills/taskless/SKILL.md in place and removes only the command.

The cli-init spec's requirement (name each target and its stub count) still holds; its example describes the deselected case.

An upgrade that retires the /tskl command removes one stub from .claude/
while the skill stays, but the confirm asked to "Remove Taskless from
.claude/". A target that keeps a skill or command is now described as
losing its stubs ("Remove 1 stub from .claude/?").
