  Mo (GitHub: @ismmhd69-crypto), ismmhd69@gmail.com. I am building Al-Bayan, a free, non-commercial Islamic question-and-answer website for Muslims and non-Muslims, in Arabic, German and English, following Ahl al-Sunnah methodology.

• Your purpose in using this API:
  When a visitor asks a question, Al-Bayan looks up relevant hadith and shows them with their collection, number, grade and grader, clearly attributed and linked to sunnah.com. We only use hadith graded sahih or hasan. The Arabic and English hadith text is always shown verbatim from your API and is never edited, and grades are never generated or changed by us. An AI writes a short plain-language explanation next to the hadith, clearly labelled as automatic, and every sentence must point to a shown source; it never issues rulings. Personal questions are referred to a qualified scholar. Data is cached on our server for a short time only.

• API rate limits:

  • Maximum requests per second: 2
  • Maximum requests per day: 3,000
