  Yasir faithflare23@gmail.com. I run Faith Flare, a YouTube channel of Urdu story episodes from the Quran, the lives of the sahaba and Islamic history.

• Your purpose in using this API:
  Each episode is written from a source pack of ayat and hadith. I would use the API to pull the exact hadith text, reference and grading for the narrations cited in an episode, so nothing is quoted from memory and only sahih and hasan narrations are told as fact. Every video description links back to the hadith on sunnah.com.

• API rate limits:

  • Maximum requests per second: 1
  • Maximum requests per day: 200

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
  Programmatic API access. I only need a handful of specific hadith per episode, a few episodes a week.

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
  Arabic and English (and Urdu, if available).

• What programming language will your API client be in?
  Python.
