Your purpose in using this API:
I am building a small, free, non-commercial Progressive Web App for Islamic knowledge search. It has a single search box and no login, no ads and no database. A user types a query in any language, and the app converts it into English and Arabic search phrases. It then looks for related hadith and Quran verses, and shows the Arabic text, collection name, hadith number, and grade with the grader's name, exactly as provided by Sunnah.com. These references and grades are never generated or altered by AI. Only the translation and explanation into the reader's chosen language is generated separately, using an AI model, and that explanation is based on the source text. Sunnah.com will be credited in the app.

Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
Programmatic API access, since results should reflect current data and grading, and the app runs on serverless functions with no database to hold a large dump.
What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
Arabic and English.
What programming language will your API client be in?
JavaScript (Node.js), running in Vercel serverless functions.
