• Your purpose in using this API:
  PrayUp is a free, privacy-first Islamic prayer and habit companion (mobile app, currently in development). We want to replace a placeholder, unlicensed dua/hadith dataset with properly sourced content — hadith shown with Arabic text, an attributed English, french,Turkich, spanich and Portuguese translation, authenticity grading, and a reference back to Sunnah.com.

  • Maximum requests per second: : 2
  • Maximum requests per day: : 150

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
  an offline dump then API access for new hadith

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
  arabic, english, french, Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese

• What programming language will your API client be in?
  my app is with Flutter, but i can write a one-time Node.js script to fetch and bundle the offline dump, and the app itself just reads the resulting local file,
