I'm a Director of Engineering at Axelerant, where I work across engineering leadership, product development, and technical direction. I started hands-on and never fully put it down. These days that means a mix of leading teams, shaping systems, reviewing architecture, and still building small tools when something annoys me enough.

I spent most of my career solving problems on the frontend, then moved deeper into backend systems, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and distributed systems. I like understanding the tools I depend on rather than just using them, so I keep a home server and a handful of small services running for no particularly defensible reason.
