Compiles a pyo3 extension (wraps the svg-hush/data-url crates) that strips scripts and dangerous content from SVGs. Upstream publishes no riscv64 wheel.

Mirrors the linux job of upstream's maturin-generated CI.yml.

Differs from upstream

  • Builds via cibuildwheel's maturin backend, not maturin-action - installs rustup in-container.

Matrix: cp310-cp314 (no abi3 feature on pyo3); pp311 skipped, no riscv64 PyPy.

Testing

  • same as upstream

License: OK

Built on cp311 locally; 3 passed.

Pure pyo3/maturin extension (svg-hush + data-url crates, no vendored
C libs). Verified locally: builds cleanly and its 3-test suite passes
against the built wheel. No abi3, so one wheel per interpreter
(cp310-cp314); pp311 skipped (no riscv64 PyPy).

py-svg-hush: pure pyo3/maturin extension, no vendored C libs; ported
and PR opened. secantusdb: investigated the real scikit-build-core +
CMake + WiredTiger build; the shipped wheel does not need the Rust
storage engine, and WiredTiger itself has confirmed riscv64 support,
but the remaining build/test surface is too large to resolve and
build in this session. Left queued with a detailed scope note.
