Summary
Adds a living competitive feature-gap analysis for Project Everflow and links it from the public roadmap. The same analysis is tracked as GitHub issue #20.
The document inventories what actually ships on
Development-Everflow(honest about thin or screenshot-only surfaces), compares Everflow to adjacent products, and lists P0–P2 gaps so CORE’s “governance first” claim can be sequenced against real competitors.Type of change
Checklist
Development-Everflow(product code) unless this is CORE-only docs.git commit -s). I certify the Developer Certificate of Origin..env, keys, tokens) are included.Test plan
docs/competitive-feature-gap.mdfor broken links and table rendering.Notes for reviewers
Headline gaps
P0 (governance table-stakes vs Coder, Dust, Open WebUI, Hugging Face Enterprise): SSO/OIDC, SCIM, SIEM-grade audit export, org policy/allowlists, RBAC beyond owner/admin/member, operator production pack.
P1 (agent platform parity vs OpenHands, Devin, E2B): GitHub/Slack intake, enforced HITL, Ollama/OpenAI-compatible providers, hard token budgets, sandbox pause/snapshot/fork, per-project egress UI.
Do not chase: becoming a worse Cursor editor or cloning n8n’s 400 nodes in Python. Double down on org chart, constitution, microVM + desktop, Apache-2.0 self-host.
