Old git repository is archived. New git repository has a separate F-droid repository that needs to be add to user's F-Droid before installing, which is why it is removed.

Thanks for the update! It looks like the F-Droid version is a port without Firebase and the link still works: https://f-droid.org/packages/network.loki.messenger.fdroid |
