Resumed draft: implementation already landed
The original source fix, five-case direct-source regression and CMake registration landed through #1333 (
fff35582b996bb3287745e65b5fe73e6296ccc9f). Current master initializesnew_tsfrom the incoming interval inlibobs/obs-audio.c.h, retainstest_audio_buffering_subsample.c, and registers the test. Before this continuation the draft had zero changed files relative to its base; no source fix remained to port or merge. This final commit corrects the feature ledger, which still said “pending merge”: record the actual October 18 implementation merge and link #1333. This PR is now documentation-only. Existing C tests, headers, ABI and Rust logic are untouched. The broader intermittent audio problem #838 is not claimed resolved.
Current-master full native suites were verified during #1663: 352 registered tests per backend, zero failures, the same three unavailable PulseAudio skips. No new runtime test is needed for this ledger correction; PR CI remains the merge gate.
The original draft head was
38c2154669bebcf98767a33bc4a1a1f196ec940a; it was rebased onto current master before finalizing the ledger. The original source evidence and history remain in the PR timeline and #1333.
