The PR is actually huge and adds the following features, on top of a general redesign that should make the app cleaner:
unified search screen (search revision and emails from the same screen)
downloads are now handled by a Work Manager to make sure your apk will be downloaded even if you leave the app while it's still in progress
if the apk installation fails because of a conflict with an existing app, you'll get a dialog that offers to uninstall the previous version first, and reinstall the new apk.
Home redesign:
1 card per app, with buttons for each flavor. The button is highlighted if the app is installed on the device.
For a
debugapp installed from TryFox, it shows the commit message of the revision from which you installed itNext to the "Installed" chip, an icon can help you identify if you installed the app from the PlayStore, TryFox, or sideloaded.
