Feature Mongoid 9.1.1 and 8.1.13 with official release, documentation, compatibility, and support links. Curate 18 actively maintained projects with descriptions while preserving historical documentation URLs. Refresh contribution and transfer guidance, replace archived Danger recommendations, clarify the community organization versus MongoDB upstream, and fix the dangling navigation anchor. Update the homepage to Mongoid 9.1.1 (current major) and 8.1.13 (previous major), verified against RubyGems and upstream releases on October 28, 2026. Link to official documentation, API reference, release notes, compatibility tables, community support, and MongoDB upstream rather than the stale community fork.
List 18 active community libraries with concise descriptions. Verified substantive default-branch maintenance for 17 projects; delayed_job_shallow_mongoid has active modernization in mongoid/delayed_job_shallow_mongoid#18. Do not equate metadata updates or incidental pushes with maintenance, and do not imply every listed project supports every Mongoid version. Keep dormant projects and archived drivers outside the directory.
Preserve all historical documentation and URLs, clearly labeled as historical. Refresh contribution and project-transfer guidance, remove the archived Danger recommendation and stale hard-coded gem-owner contacts, and replace the old mailing-list contact with current support resources. Clarify that the community organization is independent of MongoDB. Fix an unclosed navigation anchor.
Refresh the GitHub Pages-compatible bundle to github-pages 232, include WEBrick for local serving, and add a production Jekyll build check. Keep existing branch-based Pages deployment unchanged.
Validation
Production Jekyll build and actionlint pass. Checked the rendered homepage contains both exact release numbers and all 18 expected project entries, and verified preserved historical/contribution pages and generated CSS. Verified the current help/API destinations and official Pages builder Ruby 3.3 compatibility. Hosted production build passes on 2d99413.
