The Autopilot page now says that Autopilot's commits are signed by GitHub, show as Verified, and work with branch protection rules that require signed commits.
This is based on a merged backend change that makes Autopilot create its commits through the GitHub API instead of pushing unsigned commits.
Duplicate check: no open or recently merged docs PRs on Autopilot commits or commit signing, from Patrick, Ethan, mintlify[bot] or anyone else.

Low Risk
Documentation-only update with no product or security behavior changes in this PR.
Overview
Documents that Autopilot creates commits through the GitHub API, so GitHub signs them as Verified and they satisfy branch protection that requires signed commits.
This is added under How Autopilot opens pull requests, right after the note that Autopilot uses branches and never pushes to deploy or default branches.
