SkillOpt-Sleep: Support harvest from Vscode/ Visual studio copilot sessions #97
Harvesting from VS Code / Visual Studio Copilot chat sessions is not implemented.transcript_source in skillopt_sleep/config.py accepts claude | codex | auto, and skillopt_sleep/harvest_sources.py routes only to the Claude Code transcript harvester (harvest.py) or the Codex CLI archived-sessions harvester (harvest_codex.py).
What the Copilot integration (plugins/copilot/) does give you today:
an MCP server exposing the sleep_* tools, so Copilot can trigger and inspect sleep cycles — but the mined tasks still come from Claude/Codex transcripts on the same machine;
alternatively, you can bypass transcript harvest entirely and feed tasks explicitly via the reviewed tasks file (skillopt_sleep/tasks_file.py), which works from any agent.
A native VS Code Copilot source would slot in as a harvest_copilot.py producing SessionDigest objects plus a new transcript_source branch — the per-source contract is small, so it's a contained addition if the maintainers want it.
Hi! I’d be interested in working on this.
I plan to support for harvesting VS Code Copilot Chat sessions and converting them into the existing SessionDigest format, along with sanitized test fixtures and documentation

We welcome your pull requests and appreciate your wonderful contributions.
The native VS Code / Visual Studio Copilot transcript source requested here remains distinct from the sources currently under review. PR #153 imports Antigravity data, not Copilot Chat history, and its unchanged branch still has the previously reported bounded-lock/read concerns and merge conflicts.
PR #282 concerns Codex CLI rollout files, while #266 concerns DeepSeek Harness. Neither should be presented as resolving this issue. A Copilot integration that triggers Sleep through MCP is also not itself a transcript importer. This issue should remain open for a source-specific implementation with sanitized format/provenance fixtures.
Do the skillopt-sleep able to support for vscode/visual studio sessions?
