feat(work-items): add an integrate-at-least-daily cadence to decompose's window bar #8328
Refs #8326 · Source: PLAN Phase 7, topic malleable-design-defaults
Depends on
none: on the frontier now
Outcome
/work-items:decompose's window-bar row keeps the one-fresh-context-window bar and adds "integrate at least daily" as a practice-guidance cadence, not an estimate. It states no hours unit and no one-day cap. Sources: DORA trunk-based development and small batches, and Fowler's Continuous Integration ("at least daily" is the merge floor).
Why HITL: the wording must be agreed with the parallel Problem First effort's Work size and time-units rule before merge (plan DA-E). A human confirms that agreement.
Key interfaces
From the plan's ## Design › Module layout:
work-items skills/decompose | one-context-window bar plus integrate at least daily | proactive
Done when
grep -c "at least daily" on the decompose SKILL.md returns ≥ 1, and grep -ciE "[0-9]+ hours" on it returns 0.
Eval case (a case.yaml dir under the work-items plugin's evals/): a slice sized to the window bar is also checked for daily integration, with no hours estimate.
The wording is confirmed against the Problem First effort's time-units rule.
After the commit, bash scripts/check-changed-skills.sh origin/main exits 0.
The parallel Problem First effort agreed this wording on 2026-10-18: its time-units rule treats a practice cadence such as "integrate at least daily" as not an estimate, so a cadence with no hours unit and no one-day cap does not conflict (plugins/planning/context/problem-framing.md "Time units", branch feat/problem-first-framing). The human gate on this item is cleared.

test(work-items): accept same-day merge in the daily-integration grader
fix(work-items): anchor decompose window-bar pointers and fix eval lint
