The "Live API model support" section in the google plugin README lists
the supported Gemini Developer API models, but it omitted
gemini-3.8-liveandgemini-3.8-live-extended-thinkingthat were addedto the code. A developer reading the README to pick a model name for a
Live API session would not see the new models and could assume they are
unsupported, falling back to an older model unnecessarily. The repo
already follows the convention of updating this list when models are
added (see prior commit cd1fa48 adding gemini-3.1-flash-live-preview).
