Switching tabs remounts the pane, and every remount flashed the worded Connecting panel for the blink a local attach takes. A young connect now shows a wordless chip-shaped shimmer instead; the pill with its hint appears only when the connect drags past two seconds. Switching tabs remounts the terminal pane, and every remount flashed the big Connecting panel for the blink a local attach takes.
A fresh connect now shows a small wordless shimmer chip in the top right for up to two seconds. If the connect is still pending after that, the full pill with its focus mode hint appears as before. The moment the attach lands, both go away. Reconnecting is exempt and still speaks immediately, since an outage is worth announcing however short it is.
Tests cover the skeleton phase, the handover to the worded pill, and the immediate clear on attach. Full web suite and lint pass.
