These tests have not been passing for an unknown period of time, dating back to before the move to mima. They reference some very old versions of gems and test against early releases of jar-dependencies for unknown reasons. Given the unusual nature of these scenarios, I'm disabling the tests until we can figure out whether they're actually still useful.
There appears to be some incompatiblity with the mavengems plugin and the output from gem.coop's API. We'll switch back to rubygems.org for now. See jruby/jruby-maven-plugins#144

I want to get the mima version of the gem released soon so this is an attempt to stabilize that change for release.
