Description

Use Go 1.27 in the module and Go 1.27.x in both workflows. Update checkout and setup-go to v7 and upload-assets to 0.5.0.

Refresh the cloud provider SDKs, authentication libraries, password generator and supporting dependencies, and regenerate the vendor tree.

How Has This Been Tested?

Validated on Linux amd64 using Go 1.27.3 with GOMAXPROCS=2 GOFLAGS=-p=1 to limit memory use:

  • make all: formatting checks, all unit tests, six release builds, archive generation and checksums.

  • go mod verify: all modules verified.

  • go vet ./...: passes.

  • Native inletsctl version, create --help, and delete --help smoke checks pass.

  • All six release targets built: Linux amd64/arm64/arm (GOARM=6), Darwin amd64/arm64, and Windows amd64. file bin/inletsctl* confirms ELF, Mach-O and PE32+ formats; go version -m bin/inletsctl-armhf confirms GOARM=6.

  • Verified every generated SHA-256 checksum and archive payload against its binary.

Cross-platform binaries were not executed. No live cloud provisioning was tested. There are no Dockerfiles or Docker release platforms in this repository.

How are existing users impacted? What migration steps/scripts do we need?

Building from source requires Go 1.27. Existing CLI usage is unchanged; no migration steps are required.
