The ADX Environment SDK needs a distinct public package version. Set akernel-sdk to 0.2.0rc1 and update its package URLs to the canonical repository, using the matching develop SDK documentation.

Validate publication in the existing release workflow:

  • RC tags must belong to develop and use a GitHub prerelease.
  • Stable tags must belong to main and use a stable GitHub Release.
  • Both require an exact package-version match.

Document stable, prerelease, and source installation, with dependency versions declared in package metadata. Retain the existing SDK/distribution CI and PyPI Trusted Publishing.

Validation:

  • Exercised the actual release-workflow validation step against isolated Git repositories for accepted releases and rejected tag/version/type/ancestry combinations.
  • Release workflow passed actionlint; 18 runtime-contract checks passed.
  • Wheel and sdist each passed installation in a clean environment with public PyPI dependencies.

Related to #102.

Give the ADX Environment SDK a new candidate version so its public package
can be distinguished from the existing 0.1.6rc9 backend distribution.

Validate RC releases against develop and stable releases against main,
including the GitHub prerelease flag and package version. Cover release
policy with isolated Git tests and document exact candidate installation.

Validate RC and stable tags in the existing publication workflow while
retaining package-version, prerelease and remote-branch checks.

Document stable, prerelease and source installation without embedding
candidate versions or release history. Keep SDK metadata authoritative.

Use the SDK guide from the candidate source branch so package metadata
links to the matching ADX Environment documentation.
