The new `cf` CLI uses `cloudflare.config.ts`. In a project with only that file, the automatic bindings did nothing without a word, and `--runtime workerd` told the user to create `wrangler.jsonc`.

Now the automatic bindings print a note to stderr and continue, and `--runtime workerd` fails with `CLOUDFLARE_CONFIG_NOT_SUPPORTED`. Reading the file is left for later: wrangler's `getPlatformProxy` does not take it yet, and `@cloudflare/config` is not stable for external use.

The author should do the following, if applicable

  • Add tests
  • Run tests
  • `pnpm run format:fix && pnpm run lint:fix` to format the code
  • Add TSDoc/JSDoc to document the code
