Did you set your Client IP to one of the range: 192.168.100.0/24?
E.g. 192.168.100.2?
If Telnet or ssh is working, you could check if it is locked by iprules.
On OPNSense I assigned a virtual IP to the WAN Interface and created an Advanced Outbound NAT entry to route traffic to the modem IP via the virtual IP on the WAN interface.
I hope that helps.

Which Router?
If you do Not Need Permanent Access to the ui, you can directly Connect your pc or notebook and set the ip address there.

no my router ip address range is 10.0.0.1/20

Then you need some special routing/ forwarding on the router.

I am not that good in networking. Any idea what / how to add? ONT is connected to WAN on router. And router LAN is 10.0.0.1/20
What rules to add?

Tried this but still does not work
ifconfig $(nvram get wan0_ifname):0 192.168.100.2 netmask 255.255.255.0
This is what it looks like after running the command

"nvram get wan0_ifname" gave you "MAN" not "WAN" I guess... that might be the problem
