"push" in the middle of "interactive rebase - edit" pushes unrelated branch

I was on ios-appstore branch, started interactive rebase and selected to edit one commit. I edited the commit, performed commit action, then forgot to press Continue Rebase and pressed Push. As a result, some other branch was pushed, no idea how it got selected. It didn't ruin anything, just pointing out this strange behavior.

The push dialog pushes the selected branch. When push is called in a detached HEAD, the first available branch will be preselected.

I think I used alt+click. But also possible that I opened the dialog and immediately pressed Return.
