colorscheme not working on WSL

hi, i think the bootstrap has a problem with the colorscheme, i downloaded and got this error
Error detected while processing /home/myname/.vimrc: line 166: E185:cannot find color scheme 'gruvbox'

so i modified the theme to dogrun and installed the proper plugin, hoping that it was that specific colorscheme causing the problem, but no.

i'm using the latest version of WSL on debian if anyone is asking
