No match for argument: dotnet-sdk-10.0

You need to install
findutils. I verified this locally by uninstallingfindutils, and it resulted in the same error you’re experiencing. Reinstalling it resolved the issue.genifycom commentedon Dec 18, 2025

Perhaps the script could do one of its checks (like checking for curl) and include findutils in that part?

Thanks for your suggestion. I agree—it would be really helpful for the script to handle situations like this a bit more smoothly. Right now, though, the scripts are in maintenance mode, so we're mostly focused on fixing urgent bugs and helping out with any issues that come up. Because of that, we probably won’t be able to tackle this improvement at the moment. That said, you’re more than welcome to open an issue or PR if you’d like—we’re always happy to take a look and triage suggestions.

One more question please Ella
The default manual install of dotnet 10 i.e. ./dotnet-install.sh --version latest
installs to /root/.dotnet/sdk/10.0.101
and in my case neither of these report this installation:
dnf list installed | grep "dotnet"
or
dotnet --info
OTOH
The default install of dotnet 8 i.e. sudo dnf install dotnet-sdk-8.0
install to /usr/lib64/dotnet/sdk/8.0.117
Both dnf and dotnet see this installation.
Is this intentional?
