Pinning via 710c0e8 was a good idea, but it only works well for users if kept up to date and followed by a release. Otherwise users will not benefit from the improvements in the latest release of codespell, currently 2.4.3. Thank you!

@LotemKahana PS: I only now realized that this was updating a different place — pre-commit rather than Python requirements. I'll create an issue instead now… |
