What

Follow-up to #75, which was merged before its last two commits:

  • devscan runs at priority 3 (was 0). The unmount waits for a mount's remove unit (up to 20 s); at priority 0 a process gets the CPU only in the gaps, and with the car HMI running (a decoder at 2, a view at 1) devscan-remove did not get through for the whole 20 s. It does a few file operations and ends.
  • README / services/devscan/README.md: only the drivers are dmdevfs's - cfg/services and cfg/rules of a mount point are loaded by libsystemd itself (choco-technologies/dmsystem, follow-up to Implement missing DMFSI interface functions for device driver file operations #9).

Testing (STM32F746G-DISCO, choco-technologies/dmod-boot#148)

Unmounting the card with the car HMI running completes (25 s, no hang) together with choco-technologies/dmblock#6 (automount's stop timeout) and choco-technologies/carhmi-demo#15 (stops in 3.7 s instead of being killed).

…md's

README and the devscan README now say what a mounted card brings and who loads
it: cfg/drivers -> dmdevfs (devscan, ioctl), cfg/services and cfg/rules ->
libsystemd, by itself on the mount.

A mount's `remove` unit is waited for by the unmount (up to 20 s). At priority 0
a process gets the CPU only in the gaps, and with the car HMI running (a decoder
at 2, a view at 1) devscan-remove did not get through for the whole 20 s.
It does a few file operations and ends, so it runs above them.
