The Check naming ruleset has no bypass for github-actions[bot] (it cannot be added), so an enforced required_status_checks rule would reject the Release bump commit. Keep that rule off and remove the "required check" and bot-bypass wording from CLAUDE.md and the workflow comments; record why and what enforcing it would take.
