Contributions are welcome. Good PRs look like UI tweaks, balance changes, or bug fixes. Rewriting the RNG algorithm for no reason is not a good PR.
Warning
Do not touch .github/workflows, even for a small package fix. We maintain it ourselves, changes there can break the dev workflow, and the PR will be rejected quickly.
Human-written contributions are preferred. If you use AI-assisted tools, read AGENTS.md first and share it with the AI too.

The repo starts at v9.0, but the game itself dates back to 1.0, originally hosted on W3spaces and Neocities. Archives from v5.5 onward (when auth's RNG went open source) live on the Wayback Machine under authsrng.neocities.org and authsrng.w3spaces.com. Personal archives collected by auth themselves are here.
The Git log is not the full history of this project's development.
It's auth's RNG, not "Auth's RNG," "authsrng," or "Auth RNG." Lowercase "rng" is fine, and no apostrophe is needed there.
auth's RNG isn't an RNG algorithm named after someone called auth. auth is just the alias of the creator and this is their RNG web game, not a security tool. It is not a Roblox game!
