Description of the issue

Installer fails on this old repurposed Unifi Video server. Note that installation of Omarchy 3.5.1-2 ISO succeeds, but subsequent updates fail toward the end of the process.

I/O errors, I've only ever seen when my disk was not properly seated or unplugged during install.

I'm not sure how much Omarchy changes to install steps from the official installer, and I'm not sure any of the people working here want to debug through whatever is going on in https://github.com/omacom/omarchy-iso (perhaps you'd want to report there)

But out of curiosity and a quick look it seems to for some reason do FS operations out of order...

Perhaps if we (volunteers in archinstall) want to support Omarchy issues in the future, it would need to not modify key install steps as so.

this person probably reported this with ai and some of the omarchy stuff did somehow leak into the archinstall logs.
