MessageVerifier.verifyMessage never checks the value of a signed Date header, so a captured signed request or response replays indefinitely, found while reviewing the http-signature filters after #3632, fixed by rejecting a signed Date older than timeToLive (300s) or more than futureTimeToLive (60s) ahead, both configurable via rs.security.http.signature.time.to.live and rs.security.http.signature.future.time.to.live, with SignatureHeaderUtils.addDateHeader corrected to write the current instant instead of the local wall clock stamped with the requested offset.
