Today most sites have CDNs or Content Distribution Networks which usually have a different URL from the main website- I often have to whitelist many CDN URLs (hundreds of them according to my whitelist) and unless I do this the site either doesn't load at all or leaves out a lot of content, usually images and videos.
This option would allow CDNs to load once the main URL is whitelisted- I actually ran out of space and got an error after adding a URL to my whitelist which has over 5500 URLs including about 396 CDNs! So this would allow me to not have to constantly add those CDNs and remove some of those CDN URLs from my whitelist.
