Add GitStats

Adds GitStats, which turns a Git repository's history into a static HTML report: activity, authors, code ownership, hotspots and bus factor, file churn, tags and lines of code over time. It continues the original gitstats by Heikki Hokkanen (2007). GPLv2 or GPLv3, CLI. I maintain it.

Tool requirements

• The tool is at least six months old (repository created December 2019; the original gitstats dates from 2007).
• The tool has at least 20 GitHub stars (95).
• The tool has more than one contributor (36 human contributors).
• The description is no longer than 500 characters (412).
• I have not changed README.md directly.

AI tags, if applicable

Neither applies. GitStats counts the commits that say an AI coding assistant took part, from their author and message, but does not analyze the code in them; its optional AI summaries send the report's statistics to a model, not code.
