Remove fixed PDF page/time cutoffs and the ten-minute voice refusal while retaining cancellation, packet/format validation and decompression protection. Allow ordinary hidden developer folders, preserving narrow credential/state/store protection. Restore normal Markdown bodies, MCP Unicode writes and registry defaults, embedding redirects and interpolated reply previews/prompts. Existing permissions, no-overwrite writes and optional safe JSON remain.
Release security runs before publication, including native-package releases; PR security stays fast. Automatic Socket checks are disabled.
Validation: lint, types, 2,808 passing tests (two skipped), 94.48% line coverage and docs passed. Long PDF/voice, hidden-path, raw-write and gateway handling have focused regressions. The shared release workflow passed hosted execution; workflow YAML, prerequisite/permission checks and zizmor passed.
This PR does not authorize publishing unrelated unreleased schema work already on main. A compatible shared release/backport must be coordinated before downstream CLI adoption.
