Fix: PUS 11 (Time-based activities) fails to execute encapsulated commands under QEMU #136

Description

@mkooshmanian

An issue has been identified where PUS 11 (time-based activities) does not work when running under the QEMU emulator, although it functions correctly on real hardware.

Symptoms
When a command is sent to start a time-based activity via TC(11,4):

  • The expected acknowledgments (TM(1,1) and TM(1,7)) are correctly received.
  • However, the encapsulated command (for example, a TC(17,1)) is never executed (TM(1,1), TM(1,7) and TM(17,2) is never received).

Potential Root Cause
The issue appears to be related to the scheduler or potentially the file system.

    The issue was caused by a discrepancy between the default RTC value in QEMU and the default RTC value of the STM32 hardware. Since PUS 11 activities are timestamp-dependent, the approximately one and half month difference between the two environments caused the scheduler to wait a significant amount of time before executing the scheduled command.

    Resolution
    The default RTC values in QEMU have been realigned to match the real hardware's values. This ensures consistency between emulation and flight hardware and simplifies testing.
