Problem Or Use Case

When creating a handheld report with an existing or a NEW port that's been out for a week or 2 and no one has made an IGDB listing, you are required to select an emulator so the site can give you the correct pool of games but with PC & Android Ports flying off the shelves the IGDB requirement becomes a bottleneck. There technically isn't a rush to make a compatibility report but Emuready is one of the first places I look for a games performance on android especially if I can't find a youtube footage of the games said performance.

Proposed Solution

So I'm suggesting just to have an option to select "Android Port" because if a game is already on the site under any PC Emulator it can't show up for any handheld emulators, so I would have to make an new IGDB listing of the same game just so I could make a listing under Handhelds.

I don't know if its possible but when you select "Android Port" under "Emulator" when creating a new listing, have EVERY GAME in that search pool.

In the Android Port listing you could have the link to their Github as a requirement and you can have the basics like Avg Frames, App Version, Resolution, Aspect Ratio, HDR settings and Frame Rate Limit, GPU Driver etc...

Alternatives Considered

You could get in contact with the guys at OpenPortsGames.com they track mostly every port, I don't know if its automated or manual but its updated. Then you'd have to create a new option called "Android Port" or "Port" when creating a listing and that option wouldn't require the "emulator" option being checked.

IF you can't use OPG for whatever reason then maybe being able to add a game and cover photo and then have a mod verify the game picture and quality and the correct port platform (Android, Linux, Mac) and also an option to use an existing game cover art and description.

Alternatively let "contributors" status or higher submit a game directly to Emuready bypassing IGDB but require the same information that they do but more streamlined for emuready without the bloat information (Story, Engine, Age Rating, Supported Languages Navigation Links, Companies, Alternative Names and Localization) and have mods verify the game via OPG or the github link that is required for a port.
